“Fietro” has a twin sister ???? I wonder why put a false memory with false people for then to show us the “real” ones. And let us see the clear difference 🤷🏽♀️
Russos about Endgame: “It’s surprising that Tony is the one to make the sacrifice play in a lot of ways you would expect Cap to.”
Sacrifice Plays made by Tony in The Avengers: *Flew a nuke through the wormhole into space to save the world from an alien invasion, not expecting to make it back out alive*
Sacrifice Plays made by Steve in TheAvengers: ?
Sacrifice Plays made by Tony in Age of Ultron: *Got underneath a falling city to blow it up before it hit Earth and caused global destruction, knowing he may not walk away from it (with Thor on top, also risking his own life)*
Sacrifice Plays made by Steve in Age of Ultron: ??
Sacrifice Plays made by Tony in Infinity War: *Willingly flew into space to fight Thanos on Titan, fought until Thanos stabbed him through the chest with his own sword, and then begged Strange to let Thanos kill him off instead of bargaining for his life with the Time Stone*
Sacrifice Plays made by Steve in Infinity War: ???
Sacrifice Plays made by Tony in Endgame: *Wielded all six Infinity Stones to snap Thanos and his army out of existence, saving the entire universe, knowing the cost would be his own life*
Sacrifice Plays made by Steve in Endgame: ????
Me: The only surprising thing about it is that we all thought it was finally Steve’s turn to attempt a sacrifice play in an Avengers film, since Tony had been the only Avenger to make a sacrifice play in all three of the previous instalments. But, just as every other Avengers film Steve’s been in, he didn’t. Shocking.
Alright people I am a Tony stan but let’s give Steve his due.
Steve sacrificed a lot in Infinity War. He sacrificed a lot of Wakanda soldiers bcz guess what we don’t trade lives.
I was ready to throw hands when I saw the notification but then reading your comment and tags cracked me up
people are spilling some tea today
wow
I think this is why it really gets me when people say, “Oh, Tony is a terrible and selfish person,”. Sure everyone is entitled to their own opinions and it’s fine to dislike a character but Tony is neither of those things (unless you would base your opinion on the first 20 or so minutes of Iron Man, but in the same movie he also risked death and told Pepper to blow up the arc reactor he was right above so no one else would get hurt by Obadiah smh)
At almost every chance he was given, Tony did dirty work so people wouldn’t have to or so that more people wouldn’t get hurt or die. I don’t see Steve making any sacrifices of the same magnitude. I’m not denying that Steve made sacrifices, but I feel he always thought it through a little more before doing anything. I feel like Tony jumped at the chance to help people out most of the time, even if it meant risking his life. He’s always been a self-sacrificing idiot (I say lovingly), so I don’t get why anyone is really surprised by his move in Endgame.
